Business Mentoring Matters

Recently it was announced that Prince Harry is going to take diversity training. This is an excellent idea as all of us should be aware of how others experience their world and what biases we bring to any relationship. I applaud the Prince for taking this important step but must say that it only merits an Olympic wreath. Now if the Prince coupled learning about diversity with the experience of mentoring a diverse person, then he would move from theory to practice and be worthy of a King's crown. Diversity may bring change but diversity coupled with an effective mentoring program leads to true change and transformation for both parties.
