Corporate Mentoring=Good Times

"Lassez Les Bon Temps Roulez!" Translated into: "Let the Good Times Roll!" this phrase was recently heard again on the streets of New Orleans for Mardi Gras. When those good economic times return, will you be one of the companies that invest now in your employees so that you won't find yourself with a mass exodus of talent when the market opens up again?

Even in a downturn, retaining your talent  is a survival strategy if your company expects to be around to enjoy the good times coming. During a downturn, it is often too easy to cut back on initiatives that would ensure your future, only to then bear the brunt later when you lose valuable employees who felt that the company only used them--or didn't invest in them. Providing a mentor during this time can make the difference between participating in the race and not getting to the finish line or winning the race.

Don't be left out when the good times roll--invest in mentoring today and enjoy watching your more short-sighted competitors lose their best employees to your forward thinking strategy.
