Business Mentoring Matters

Once a relationship is in full swing, it doesn't mean that you can sit back and relax.  Creating a successful mentoring relationship is important but maintaining one is even more significant.  It is important to build on the relationship that has developed between the two of you and this can be done by respecting one another, trusting one another and most importantly, by having the lines of communication open.  Respect will allow you to learn from one another.  Trust will allow you share your feedback.  And, communication will give you the opportunity to avoid misunderstands and conflict.  Therefore, remember to continue building on your foundation in order to have a stronger mentoring relationship.  

How about sending an email?  Making a phone call? Sending a text? How about sending a letter snail mail?  Anyway you choose to do it, it is a step in the right direction!
